Streets - Aya:
Well, she was glad that explanation was satisfactory. Strange how he accepted it so quickly. If Aya were on the receiving end of such a story... well, she wouldn't know how she'd react. Much like she didn't know how the coin that Aero just tossed would react. She wanted to ask him what would happen if the coin landed tails-side up, but alas. The coin had already landed, and their arbitrary method of restaurant choice dictated that they would move directly across the street.
Across the street was a quaint little cafe, one that wouldn't look out of place in Acidibara... to Aya's knowledge anyways. Aya picked up the coin, followed them inside, and sat down. It was a cozy little place. The air was warm and filled with an unidentifiable, but still pleasant, scent. "Excuse me." Aya tried to get Aero's attention and then placed the coin in front of him. "You dropped it." She tried to smile at him to accompany the gesture, though it wasn't very evident on her face.
Just then, a nervous-looking girl sheepishly made her way over to the table where the three of them were sitting, wearing a stylized maid uniform with a cat tail sticking out of the waist and a headband that sported cat ears. She was frantically apologizing as her tail knocked over a number of patrons' drinks and adjusting her cat ears that she couldn't seem to get to look right no matter what angle she was wearing them.
"Uh... hi, hi! M-Mew??? I-Is that... I'm doing this right, right? Uh. Sorry! So... I'm Sachiko, and uh... I'll... argh, stay put you darn... I'll be taking your order! So... what does everyone want today? Mew? I think? Oooohhhh, I hope I didn't get another table that's already been waited..."
School - Zoie + Gotsu no Taizai
"Really? I know I'm supposed to be on your side and all, but you were singing a way different tune yesterday, Mom." Zoie broke out of her hormone-induced trance for a moment to snark at Gretta, though she hadn't had time for the term 'mom' to lose its bitterness.
Dan gently pushed Gretta away from him. "Uh, right. Either way, you sure it's wise to get a little girl involved?"
"Hehe... yeah~. Not exactly sure I'm comfortable beatin' on a kid like that~. 'Specially one that seems so enamored with us~♪! It ain't right to rag on a fan like that~!" While Brad was speaking in his usual whimsical sing-song tone and Zoie went back under, Kennie ran up to Gunther and started whispering something. Mike seemed nowhere to be found. Was he really that afraid of Gretta? Soon, Gunther put two fingers to his temple. "Hey, Gunshow~. What'cha thinkin' there, pal~?"
"BROADCAST." Gunther almost-yelled into the ether. The rest of the group turned quiet, and started nodding among each other in approval.
"Alright, yeah."
"Sounds like a party to me~!"
"Hey guys, what'd I miss?" Mike suddenly appeared again, and Zoie, who was already pretty red in the face, went even redder. She started patting around her hips and stomach, tugging on Gretta's sleeve and spoke much more quietly than she normally would.
"H-Hey, Gretta... Is it just me or uh... is something uh... missing?" Before Zoie could get a response, Gunther faced Gretta.
"We accept your challenge. We have no reason to fear you, for your threats are necessarily empty. Our conditions are as follows. If you are victorious, one of us will personally accompany you to a restaurant of your choosing. Our funds will be at your disposal for the entirety of the meal. If we are victorious, you will permanently discard everything you claim to hold over us. One of us will personally accompany you to ensure everything gets destroyed. If you refuse these conditions, and choose to - figuratively speaking - walk all over us, know that both you and your associate will also feel the weight of your own boot. Are these terms acceptable?"

4 Months Ago - Aero's office Aero checks his list. Next inquiry is...
"Do you like coffee?"
"Um....I suppose?" is the girl's uncertain response.
Said recipient of Aero's questions, is a young idol girl. Red of hair and high of concerns. Crossing and uncrossing her legs as her eyes dash this way and that across the floor.
"I see." Aero says, checking a box on his check list. "Last question. Don't worry it's easy; Are you afraid of ghosts?"
"Urhm....well...uh...y-yes?"
"Hm." Aero mutters apathetically. He makes another check mark on his list and puts it down. He then sizes it up and flips through his packet before turning his gaze to the girl for only the second time.
"Alright that's all my questions. You passed, welcome aboard."
And with that Aero hired his first partner.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- January 8 - Catfe Aero "How in the world do you get sent to a table someone else was already stationed at?" Aero puzzles, his eyes fixed and slanted on this strange girl. A look of, almost pained confusion, like someone just spoke a whole other language at you "You should talk to your manager about that."
"But never mind that for now." Aero says, eyes maintained on the waitress. "If you haven't noticed, we only just arrived so unless my guest already know's what she wants I'll thank you to return later." Aero says pointing over to Aya.
And then, without looking at her or at it, he takes the coin she was offering him and puts it back in his pocket.
"Now then." Aero says, returning line of sight to the group. "Job, check the menu for me. And if you pick something poor, your punishment will be to eat it in my stead, understand?"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ January 8 - Catfe Job "Please do not worry, mam." Job says, looking up from her seat. She raises her left hand in a thumbs up to the nervous cat server. "You are doing just fine. There is no cause for panic."
While it would seem Aero dismissed the cafe upon entering, Job was quiet confused by the inner workings of the place. She had never been to a place like this before. A place that seems to have scented candles in the air. And a place where people dress in such strange clothes.
'Were these clothes similar to an idol's performance clothing?' Job wonders. 'We're these people idols themselves? Whoa, could this be an Idols cafe? For idols?'
Perhaps I should use this chance to to learn. I've heard some idols are so good, they can completely change their persona from when they are on stage from when they are not.
Maybe this waitress isn't even clumsy, but is herself, in character?
But this train of thought had gone on for too long. As Job has just received new orders from Aero.
"Oh." Job says picking up a menu. "Yes sir! I'll try my hardest."
Job's eyes turn to the menu, but before long, they turn back up to the pink haired girl sitting across her. It had occurred to Job that she had not conversed with her much. Were her actions perhaps coming across as rude? That is not good.
But, she had no idea what she could possibly ask her about....except for one thing.
"Um, pardon me for asking miss." Job says curiously to Aya, "But, what do you think of idols?"

Kusogamine Academy-Gretta:
Gretta didn't respond to Zoie's shady comment at her, she was focused on one thing at the moment, and it was destroying the pretty rainbow guys.
The orange kid said. "Uh, right. Either way, you sure it's wise to get a little girl involved?"
"Zoie is not a little girl, she is... she is my associate and my equal, D O N O T disrespect her by implying she is less than me." As much as it hurt Gretta, she knew that even if her maternal instincts made her felt like she was responsible of Zoie as a mother, their relationship was more similar to sisters, she still had to gain Zoie's respect to for her to treat her like a parental figure, and she was determined to show her that she could destroy anyone if it was for her benefit.
She ignored the banter of the group of colored children, she just wanted to get to the main dish of the day.
Suddenly Zoie started tugging on her sleeve and looking like a sweaty pepper said to her. "H-Hey, Gretta... Is it just me or uh... is something uh... missing?
Before Gretta could say something about her feeling fresher, the pink kid set some conditions for the fight, Gretta's face turned into one of true disgust, how could someone in the state he was even try to negotiate, normally she would have told him to go eat a dic-tionary before attempting something so dumb, but Zoie liked the rainbow squad and she didn't wanted to get the pepper girl more angry at her and reluctantly said.
"Number one, take that mighty tone of your voice, you know who are you talking to right?" It was moments like this were the toughness of her dad showed through her body, the curvy girl suddenly looked like she was a brick. "And two, I accept your conditions, we aren't backing."

Catfe - Aya:
"Eeeeep!" Sachiko flinched when Aero started grilling her so intensely. It's a wonder she didn't fall over. "I-I-I... Well, y-you see! I'm kinda... sorta... aaaaaah..."
"Please do not worry, ma'am. You are doing just fine. There is no cause for panic." Job's voice managed to cut through, and the high-strung waitress breathed a sigh of relief. "Ooohhh... Thank you soooo much. You have nooooo idea how much I needed that today... I'm- ah, c'mon... I guess I'm gonna leave you guys alone for a bit, then! So uh... I guess just... c-call me over when you need me? I guess? Uh... bye!"
Sachiko quickly left, winding herself up again muttering something about not saying the right thing whilst Aya watched. "I didn't think being a waitress would be an incredibly stressful task." She remarked while she opened her menu, quickly scanning its contents. She heard the man saying the girl should order for him, and what would happen if she chose the wrong thing. "Would it not be better to eat it anyways? You sound quite busy, and working on an empty stomach sounds like a less-than-favorable option." She stared at Aero.
Staaaare.
Oh. Then Job asked her a question. Did she like idols? What a vague question. Just by instinct, Aya had started compiling mental subsets of things that she could possibly judge her limited knowledge of idols by. Looks, song choice, how friendly they are, how successful they are... and even then, she didn't know that many. It was just UV, CG, and those other two girls at the bar that didn't give their names, but still seemed friendly enough. Aya needed something more than the question asked of her.
Of course, what she ended up saying was: "I don't know what you mean."
Oh. And now it was Job's turn to get staaaaaared at.

4 Months Ago - Aero's office
From red to green to red again. The sides of the Rubik's cube went back and forth.
No like, seriously, he was just turning the exact same segment over and over again.
"So basically," I can't believe this, "You're out a partner....again."
"That is NOT right!"
Or so he says. But it's pretty much exactly what it looks like.
"SIGH, Come on Andrew. You have got to do better than this."
------------------------------------------------
January 8th - Catfe Aero
PFFFOOOOTT!!
To the untrained eye it would seem that, for but a moment, there were two girls sitting at a table....
with a malfunctioning, human shaped fountain.
After parching himself with his over abundance of word use, Aero now finds himself quiet finished with his glass of water.
Or maybe he was simply being generous and offering the table itself a drink?
"Jo-*cough*"
"Job! What are you doing asking questions like that?"
----------------------------------------------------
January 8th - Catfe Job
Without so much as a word Job beings wiping up the mess Aero had made mere moments ago.
"Apologies Sir." she says to Aero. "And you too, miss."
A couple of napkins later, and after Aero drank all of Job's glass, Job resumed her menu search and topic fish.
"About earlier miss. I suppose I was a little vague since I had no specifics in mind."
"I'm actually a starting idol, but I'm super small. The whole thing about these people singing and dancing on stage and all is something I find super interesting. So I guess I was a bit to broad with my question."
Now Job's mind was racing to form conversation. She didn't know much about anything, but something about idols got her a little fired up.
Without stopping to breath she tried to focus her question better, "I guess...do you like idols? Any specific ones?"
All the while, Aero seemed to look away from the group.
