Dogyo District Court:
Gwendalyn was considering pulling a few punches. She was going to give them a chance to back out. Not anymore after that epic display. Seriously. He was the one calling her a filthy vagrant. Took one to know one. She was honestly surprised the word "vagrant" was in that man's vocabulary, not that she was going to say that out loud. In the end, Gwendalyn simply raised her eyebrows and let out a "Hm," in either intrigue, disappointment, or some combination thereof.
And then the other girls got into idol formation. Three so far, but Gwendalyn wouldn't have been surprised if that guy was hiding two more in that coat of his. Gwendalyn's grin was unfettered as she started braiding her hair.
"Oooh! We doing this? I hope we're doing this! I'm BROKE right now! This should be fun, provided nobody's underestimating anyone." Gwendalyn's grin slowly morphed into a smirk as she tossed a teasing glare toward Emma. She finished her hair and whipped out a compact mirror from inside her coat. She touched up her makeup real quick and blinked in her contacts. She stared down at her shoes...
"Huh. Guess platforms will have to work today. They're still cute!"
Gwendalyn's "transformation" almost complete, she eyed the court building expectantly. "Hey. What say we go into a trial in recess and give the gallery a real treat? Fitting, right?" Filming was prohibited in the courtroom anyways, so if it turns out she was in over her head (unlikely), she had some amount of coverage.

Roxie's apartment:
Roxie wakes up. The room was spinning and her head was pounding. It took her a few minutes to realize that the sunlight coming in through the window was hitting her face. She tried to move away quickly, but ended up falling onto the carpet. She slowly got to her feet. She glanced around the room slightly disoriented and wondering how hard she had partied the previous night. After checking the room several times without noticing another person in the room, she decided not hard enough. She tried to walk toward the door and immediately fell to the ground. Being hungover and alone was the worst. She crawled over to the kitchen counter and used that to get back to her feet. Several glasses of water later, the next thing she noticed was the lack of her throbbing head. She decided that she was ready to find a person.
She stayed in the apartment long enough to redo her lipstick and don her cowl before walking out the door into the sun-filled streets. She only walked a few blocks before noticing a small crowd. The first thing that caught her eye was a person with pink hair and all white attire. A quick glance told her everything that she needed to know.
Great. Someone with no shape. She sighed. Well at least there is somebody to have a nice chat with.
She walked over intending to pull the girl away from the crowd. Roxie grabbed Aya's wrist and whispered in her ear, "Hey there. Want to have a good time?"

Dogyo Streets:
Aya tensed up when she felt someone suddenly tugging at her wrist. She followed the person's arm with her eyes until she could make eye contact. She stared at the woman for a few seconds as she thought up an answer to her question. There were a couple of red flags popping up in Aya's mind about this woman based on appearance alone, and she could only imagine what she might be planning. But on the other hand, she was promising a good time. And why would Aya refuse a good time? Aya looked toward Chet, who seemed to be speaking with someone else now. Somewhat disappointed, she turned back and glared Roxie dead in the eye.
"Maybe. How long will this take? I want to meet with a friend today." Aya calmly replied, not sure what to expect.

Ramen Shack:
Gretta, for the first time, seemed to got offended by Zoie's sarcastic attitude. She slowly started turning red. "Zoie stop! I know I usually don't seem to get angry with your attitude, but please have more respect! The topic of my parents is something that still hurts me deeply, but as your parental figure, I figured I should be more open, especially since tomorrow it's a special date for me."
Her eyes seemed to be tearing up. "I'm sorry" She cleaned her eyes. "Thinking things better, I think we shouldn't have this conversation on somewhere more personal." She stood up and took her wallet. "I'll go pay Ramon, in the meanwhile finish your Plebsi, It won't take long."

The Ramen Shack:
Zoie was genuinely surprised by Gretta's slight outburst. She was trying, what more could you ask for?! Zoie knew she wanted to say something, but she didn't quite know what. She started multiple times while Gretta got up and spoke to Ramon. As she walked toward the podium, Zoie made a noise somewhere between a scoff and a sigh and kept drinking her Plebsi, preferring to crane her neck to reach the straw than bring the glass to her. It was all watered down now. Figures. Zoie decided to rest her head on her hand again while she waited for her to return.
Ramon sighed as Gretta approached him. "You absolutely sure you're done? Whatever. Three super whatever bowls, large drink, two sake cans... 42 bucks."

Roxie smiled and replied "It shouldn't take any longer than two hours. Is that too long?"
Without waiting for a reply, she tightened her grip slightly on Aya's wrist and started walking to her apartment.

The Ramen Shack:
"Yes Ramon, I'm sure." Gretta gives Ramon 50 bucks. "The rest is your tip." Suddenly Gretta hugs Ramon really tight. "Keep up the good work, I'm sure that more clients will come." She lets go off him and goes with Zoie.
"Are you done? If you are, let's go!" Zoie seemed a bit down, was it because of Gretta? " Hey, sorry if I was a bit... um, rude or intolerant? But please don't think I'm angry with you." She tried to pet Zoie on the head. "Let's just go."
She walked to car and entered it.

Dogyo Streets:
"Actually, I think it-" Roxie didn't seem to care. Aya tried to squirm free to tell her that yes, that would be a bit too long, but her grip tightened before Aya could escape. The two started traveling to a place Aya could only imagine while she stumbled over her own stilettos. Her expression didn't change much, but it looked like she was... distraught? Yes, that was it. It had to be due to the uncertainty of this situation. When she regained her footing, she tried to get Roxie's attention again.
"I should've asked this earlier. What exactly do you have in mind?"
The Ramen Shack:
Ramon tensed up when Gretta suddenly squeezed him. "Yeah, yeah. Don't think you're getting any more special favors, ma'am." Ramon said that every time, but hey. Gretta and Zoie have been regulars the past couple of months, and a couple of the best customers he'd ever had. He couldn't exactly afford to not do anything for them...
Zoie kept her glare on Gretta all throughout the payment. She didn't say a word when Gretta told her to leave; she merely eyed the rest of her nearly-empty glass of soda. With one last long sip out of the crazy straw, Zoie got up and joined Gretta in the car. Ramon saw them off as another prostitute with tattered clothes entered the building. Ramon sighed.
"Hey, sorry if I was a bit... um, rude or intolerant? But please don't think I'm angry with you."
"Could've fooled me. I try to be respectful and you yell at me? Like..." Zoie couldn't find the words she wanted, so she just scoffed. "Just... whatever. What's the thing you want to talk about so badly?"

A fun journey in car:
Gretta knew that Zoie got angry, that was obvious,What Gretta didn't know was what she had to do. She couldn't even try to do something that her parents would do to get her happy, since she was an orphan from a very young age. "Zoie, I... am sorry." What Gretta didn't know was what she had to do.She turned on the car and started driving.
"Look Zoie, I know we haven't spent much time together, but I want to say thanks, for being here. Sure, life isn't easier, I still have many economic issues, very big ones, but, at least I feel like I don't have to fight my own internal demons and problems alone." Some tears dropped on the steering wheel. " Everyday, since I was about your age, or even younger, I've been alone. My mom died, the police accused my dad of her death and I was sentenced to a life of legal processes until I became 18." What Gretta feared the most at this moment, was for Zoie's destiny to be the same as her. " Zoie, I'm scared, because legally, you aren't my child. If your family wanted they could come and take you over." She started sweating. " A-and even if I proved that your family isn't capable of taking care of you, you would end up like me:alone, trapped in an eternal spiral of orphanages and legal processes." She stopped talking for a while.
"Tomorrow is the same date as my mom's death. I always go visit her at the cemetery every month, but tomorrow is even more special...after that I always try to visit my dad at the detention center. He hasn't talked to me since his arrest, but I know he is innocent." Gretta, using her softest and warmest tone told Zoie. "Could you please go with me?"

Gretta's car:
...
Zoie could only reply with an unenthusiastic "Oh..." and turn toward the window. To some degree, Zoie could sympathize. The difference was that Zoie's parents were only dead in her daydreams.
Zoie didn't know if she could say anything to Gretta that would comfort her. Anything true, anyways, but even if she lied, would that work? Well, something was better than nothing. There was no possible way this could come back to bite her, Zoie told herself, back then. She took a number of precautions to prevent it from happening, anyways. Zoie turned to face Gretta.
"Hey. Don't worry about me. If it makes you feel better..." Zoie paused, sighed wistfully, and turned toward the window again. "My folks are gone, too. Remember I told you that when we first met? I thought that was why you took me in. 'Sides, you found me on the street. I don't think you need to worry about me going into any orphanages."
Zoie drummed her fingers against the window while Gretta proposed a trip to the graveyard. "I mean, I don't think I really have a choice, do I? I guess."

Dogyo Streets:
Roxie suddenly stopped. Who did I convince? How naive is she? She thought. Roxie took a deep breath and considered her answer.
She turned and and gave Aya her iconic smile, that made her fangs gleam underneath the hood, as she replied “Whatever you would like.”

Sewers:
Ace sat in one of her plastic folding chairs, slurping a breakfast of the previous night's canned spaghetti through a straw. The rats feasted on the potato chips, which she had piled in one of the corners for them. "This is the life, isn't it, little ones?" She leaned back in the chair contently. "That last one we ran into seems like a prime target! We'll have to keep an eye on that one for next time!"
As she enjoyed her plunder, a greenish mist seemed to be floating about, eventually taking the form of a mustached man wearing a bow tie, seating himself in one of the other folding chairs. She fell back in her chair at the sight of the figure, fortunately not losing any of the canned breakfast in the process. "You again? These chairs ain't cheap, ya know! And what the hell happened to the beard you had last time?" she shouted at the ghostly apparition, dusting herself off, placing the chair back where it was, and retrieving the can.
"No, no, no, it's me, Grover Cleveland, the 22nd and 24th President. Much like Hayes, I have very little to do in the afterlife. I have a city named after me, I suppose, but do you know how hard it is to appear to people in the city? They'll walk right by you! The ghost thing's not all it's cracked up to be, you know! Ah, but I digress, that's not why I'm here! Unlike Hayes, I can actually help you! Unbeknownst to most, by becoming both the 22nd and 24th President, I split into two distinct beings! Now I'm just one being, but with double the wisdom! Anyway, I like the whole villainy in the night thing you've got going! Very exciting!"
"You must continue to work for that Heifer fool for the time being, but soon you shall unlock your full potential as the Dark Mistress of Pestilence, and lead our conquest from beyond the grave! It shall be a grand time for all involved!"
"You kinda lost me on that one, mister, but sounds good! We'll be unstoppable or some shit! MWEHEHEHEHEHEHE!" she cackled. "Onwards to victory, my children!" She gulped down the last of the canned spaghetti before climbing up the ladder and out of her lair, unsurprisingly smelling of sewer, with her ever-present swarm of rats not far behind.
The former president sat there awkwardly for a few moments before dissipating into a green mist again.

Dogyo Streets:
Aya took a moment to respond, primarily because she was distracted by the twinkle underneath Roxie's hood. Aya leaned in a small bit, and looking closer, she noticed those were fangs. Actual fangs. Aya didn't know what they were intended for, but her gut told her she didn't want to find out.
"I would like for you to let me go. I think I'm afraid of you." Aya started trying to pull her wrist free of Roxie's grip with pupils narrowed. Eventually, she broke free, and started running as fast as her high heels would allow deeper into the city, desperately hoping Roxie wouldn't give chase.

Dogyo Streets:
Roxie stood in complete bewilderment at what she had just heard. “Why doesn’t she know if she is actually afraid of me? Why might she be afraid of me? Was it the fangs? No, it couldn’t be. Most people are attracted to me because of them” She asked herself outloud. Either way, she needed to know the answers.
Roxie started to run after Aya making sure not to lose sight of her long pink hair.
