Dogyo Streets:
While Aya moved surprisingly well in heels, she couldn't help the feeling that someone was right behind her. Well, of course there was, there always is, but there was one specific person right behind her. Aya, against her better judgement, turned around, and sure enough, saw the cloaked woman with fangs pursuing her. Aya couldn't think of anything to do to lose her, so she kept going until she came across some landmark.
Well, it was better than nothing, Aya supposed. Aya opened the door to a nearby building and tried to hide.

Dogyo Streets:
Roxie noticed Aya run into a building. She paused for a second. I hope that there are other types of people. She’d better not be the standard for all people in this country. She then proceeded to run inside after Aya.
Once inside, she had no trouble finding Aya because the long pink hair was curled around a leg of a couch. She walked up to the couch. She stood in front of it with a half smile on her face, that still managed to show both fangs. “Hello dear. You must clarify a few things for me really quick.” She said as she looked over the couch and stared at Aya.

Gretta jokingly said "I guess you don't small pepper"
Graveyard:
"Mom, will you always be with me?"
"No and yes"
"...mom?"
" One day I'll have to leave here forever, but, you can always find me in the sky, with the stars. In essence I won't never leave daddy and you."
"Are you a star?"
"I guess I am, heh heh."
That conversation always played on Gretta's head, unknowingly, her mother was right, she died, but she never actually disappeared. Most of what Gretta do had two motives, her mother and survival, sometimes they conflicted each other and in case that happened, she always would prefer to do what her mother would do, that's why Zoie is part of her life, even if it complicates things, she won't never leave Zoie, even if it means her dying, one could say it's stupid, but for Gretta it made perfect sense.
She got out of the car with a big bouquet of smooth aster, her mother's favorite flowers, "Zoie, could you take my hand please?" She walked with Zoie to her mother's gravestone, it was in great conditions, it clearly could be read Estelle Affini, loving mother and wife. The place had a bittersweet atmosphere, it was obvious it was affecting Gretta, but she tried to hide it from her protege. "Zoie, I want to tell you that I'll love you, you are the most important thing to me, I could never be truly mad at you, even if you lied to me about everything that you truly are, even if you hated me with every piece of your existence... even if you killed me, I wouldn't be mad. Why? Because I am now your mother, and what a mother should always do is think of her children before themselves." She broke out in tears and hugged Zoie. "I beg you to never leave me."

January 7 - Graveyard:
A slight but brisk breeze blew through the otherwise stagnant air of the Shine Cemetery. This area always felt a little chillier than the rest of the city, and the weather seemed to be perpetually cloudy here, almost like when you enter the ominous spiked gate, you start to enter the other side itself.
Zoie stepped out of the car and started shivering. Gretta asked her to take her hand. She sighed. "This is dumb," she whispered in a volume that she thought was under her breath as she did so. Zoie's face remained a bored neutral as she walked toward the well-maintained headstone of Mrs. Affini. Soon, Gretta started talking again, but Zoie just couldn't bring herself to care. She felt a churning in her stomach, but she just couldn't be invested in Gretta's words.
And then came the hug. Zoie wasn't a hugger. At all. Every muscle in Zoie's body tensed up when Gretta wrapped her arms around her, but she didn't actively resist like she usually did. Not at first, anyway. The hug seemed to last an eternity, and there was only so much Zoie could handle before being reminded of a certain someone she loathed. After about twenty seconds, Zoie started struggling and pushing Gretta away.
"Okay, okay! Just... don't do that again! And please stop calling yourself my mom. Just... don't." Zoie fidgeted a little in place. "So... what do we do now?"
January 8 - Furui Retirement Home:
One day, Aya figured she'd regret having hair as long as it was. But why oh why did it have to be today? Roxie's footsteps could be heard approaching her crystal clear thanks to the creaky floors, and she only then realized there was still a lock of pink peeking out from the lumpy couch she was hiding behind. The vampire only looked more threatening with her figure hovering over Aya's.
“Hello dear. You must clarify a few things for me really quick.” Aya hoped one of those things wasn't how good her neck tasted. Her expression hardly changed, but her eyes flitted from one spot in the room to another, perhaps in the vain hope that she might still be able to escape. Aya shrunk back into her hair a little bit.
"...Like what?"

Retirement Home:
“Well, to begin,” said Roxie, still looking down at Aya, “I must know your name. The second thing is why don’t you know if you’re scared of me. The third thing is how do you find me even possibly scary.”

Furui Retirement Home:
Well, it didn't seem like this vampire woman wanted to eat her... yet. This seemed... as optimal as a situation like this can get. Roxie clearly had the advantageous position here. Still, though. This woman still seemed vaguely threatening. Her eyes still searched in vain for an escape. Nothing was available. Aya did her best to look Roxie in the eye.
"...If it assuages your worries, your second question is no longer relevant," Aya began. "My name is Aya Radiata. I'm known as Shining Destiny on the Internet and onstage. You scare me because you have a threatening appearance, with your sharp fangs and evil-looking robe." At the mention of fangs, Aya drew her hair firmly around her neck, but not so firmly she couldn't breathe. She valued breathing.

ACD48 Office
Hate.... Hate... Hate... FUCKING HATE HATE HATE HATE... HATE you...
Rin paced the room, her eyes fixed upon Akira's sleeping face as if they were spotlights and Akira's face was a stage and... actually two spotlights so close to eachother and from this distance? The lighting would be awful... Awful, horrible and shit. Still, that's besides the point. Rin had followed Akira's lead and taken a short nap... More like a blink, considering how uncomfortable it is to sleep on a table (not that this was a first for her, mind you...) but even by conventional nap standards (as outlined in the Official Napping Guide) Akira was taking a sleep... No... A goddamn SLUMBER!
This, in turn, served to infuriate the mildly sleep deprived and overly antisocial idol. For a start, if anyone should get the couch it should be her. And if anyone should be sleeping... Well, there's no-one who should be sleeping. Sleeping was for winners with winning goals.
"Aki~Nyan..." She gently poked the other girls cheek.
"Akinya?" She gently shook her supposed friend's shoulders.
"AKIRA!" She shouted and went in to push the sleeping one off her throne of Z's. "WAKE THE HELL UP!"
Dogyo District Court
"Eh? Emma, did she just challenge us..." Mayah puts a finger to her temple in a thinking pose.
"That is affirmative." Emma nodded. "However, scientifically speaking, the numbers don't match up. While her level is presumably higher than ours, we outnumber her. To put it bluntly, we have a greater chance of winning, though albeit not necessarily a guaranteed-"
"Alrighty!" Trudy butts in beaming, a malevolent slant to her hat. "Let's put on a wonderful show for the gallery! We're professionals though, Miss... Uh... Vagrant, so... I will warn you that our stellar performances might be a little too much for you to handle. We ARE managed by Big Daddy, after all."
She smirked and span towards the courtroom doors.
"Well, girls? Shall we go take the center stage? I believe Courtroon No. 4 is awaiting some entertainment. Constitutional crimes are just so dull, wouldn't you say?"
Dogyo Channel 6 24-7 News
"So, Minister Gaite, this new proposition, the..."
"Yes, the Family Utility bill."
"Right, yes. Well, I must say, we're personally for it here at Channel 6. A bill aimed at truly aiding the country that focuses on our countries most important asset, families. It's quite a humanitarian effort, I must say."
*applause*
"Haha, well... Jokes notwithstanding, our party is just trying to help each and every one of us! We don't deserve the applause, we're just happy to do what's righ-

Takuto decided that it would be a good experience to wander on his own for a while. His skills were meant to support other people... That was fine, but he liked the thought of being able to hold his own during a solo concert as well. Besides, while he still believe in JUSTICE and wanted to raise his group's popularity, there was also his own popularity to consider too. Naturally, he had a wide smile on his face as he headed out, despite the fact that he was feeling rather fatigued. It was something that he had learned to mask. ... When was the last time he had gone to sleep? Oh well, it didn't matter.
"Still, if my appeal lies in how I'm the 'cute' and 'mysterious' member of the team... How am I supposed to stick out without any support? It's easy if I'm not the one doing the talking, but I go solo... I'll have to speak. There's a delicate balance there...!" Takuto said. He then stopped speaking once it became clear that there were others who could potentially overhear him if he spoke more. He did his best to present himself as though he weren't putting any effort into how he was acting. He was a workaholic, but part of his charm was that it seemed like he didn't put much effort into his own image.
And so it seemed like Takuto would embark on a brand new journey... It was important to improve himself as an idol in order to obtain more fame and provide for his relatives, after all.

Retirement Home:
“Oh, you frightened little thing. I am so sorry that my cape frightened you. It has a habit of doing just that. But, how on earth do you find my fangs scary? Most people tend to find them cute and very attractive.” That was when she noticed Aya apparently trying to choke herself with her own hair. Maybe I should try to comfort her. Wait, she’s famous as well. I haven’t been onstage with another person for a while. “Shining Destiny you said. I’ve heard of you. I too, am rather famous. I go by the name Countess Ladacur. Have you heard of me? No, of course you haven’t, probably not by name. You should’ve heard of my act. It is one of the best. Right now,”she said glancing once more at the position that Aya was in, “I’m not sure you even come close. Why don’t I just show you the act? You can join in when you want.”

Retirement Home - Aya:
Well... it at least looked like this woman cared? Maybe? The fangs themselves may be cute, but who knows how many graves were behind them? Aya shrunk back even more into her hair, as if that was possible at this point. Though, perhaps Ladacur noticed. She caught the woman eyeing her, perhaps noting her posture?
"...I'm not sure you even come close."
Definitely noting her posture. That, and she was kind of sitting on the floor scared out of her wits, but that wasn't particularly important. Aya immediately righted herself, then realized... Is this woman challenging me?
Well, the last battle ended with my victory. I believe I can handle another.
"Is this a challenge? If so, I accept."
...I didn't know vampires had Internet connections.
Dogyo District Court - Gwendalyn:
"Alright! It's settled! What are we waiting for? Last one in is a basic... well, y'know..." Miss Brite quickly turned and sashayed inside the building.

“...Is this a challenge?” What does she think I was referring to? A duet. Hmm… that did cross my mind, but if she wants a challenge...
“Of course, what else would I possibly be asking? Anyways, I will start and when you are ready you can climb out from behind that couch and dust yourself off.” She got off the couch and headed for a spot to get ready further from the sunlight streaming in through the windows.

Murphy's Office - Meiryo Osaka
"Ahuhu~, oh Mama-chan you!" Mei giggled in her sickly sweet tone as she looked as the photo on the monitor, "What are you doing with a picture of me when I was so young?" she said, her face becoming flushed, possibly from the alcohol. She crossed her legs and rested her chin on her hand, leaning in closer to Murphy.
"Oh I'm just kidding Mama-chan, ahuhu~" she laughed, pinching Murphy's nose for a short moment and snatching the bottle of alcohol away from him. She downed another quick gulp and put the bottle back on the desk. She wiped her mouth on the sleeve of her coat and jumped off the desk, heading towards the door.
"But this is exactly what I came here for." she said as she wobbled off. "There are sooooooo many idols nowadays, I wonder where they all came from." she leaned against the door, slowly turning the knob. She peeked through the small crack of the door to see if anyone was outside.
"Ahuhu~, all those poor girls..." Meiryo said, opening the door fully and walking out. Before she closed the door, she waved goodbye to Murphy.
"Bye-bye Mama-chan, enjoy the rest of that bottle~"
And the door closed shut.
Coolmeyer's Diner
From the basement, a tipsy Mei emerged.
"Ya-ho everyone! Mega Moe Mei is here and ready to paaaaarty!" she exclaimed, doing a spin and cartwheeling to the bar. She somersaults into her seat, which was almost as tall as her, and giggles. The man right beside her is surprised, almost spilling his drink. But he regains his composure and sighs. He brushes off the dirt on his fully-buttoned black coat and squeezes the flowers he is holding in the other hand.
Suddenly, the man asks her a question.
"Are y-you an idol?" he asks, stammering. He was nervously tapping the edge of the bar.
Mei snaps her head to the right, facing the man and smiling. "Yosh! I'm Mega Moe Mei and I'm an idoooooool~, do you need something, mister?" she replies, tilting her head to the side in curiosity.
"I-it's my d-daughter's birthday y'see and I w-was w-wondering if y-you could-"
"Deal. I'll get my partner, we'll perform!" she interrupts, throwing her arms in the air.
"Wha-"
Mei shushes the man and snatches his drink, downing it in one shot. She takes out her cellphone and calls the apartment that served as their office. It rings and goes into the voice mail.
"Ooooooh Fummy-saaaaan~" she says to the phone with her alluringly cute voice. "I got us a gig! Meet me a Shine Cemetery A-S-A-P! We're gonna have a Mega Fun Time! Ahuhu~" Mei ends the call and looks at the confused old man with a smile.
"H-how did you-" he tries to ask, only to be interrupted with a pat on the head from Mei.
"Hmmmmm, I don't know Mister-san. You looked like you were going to visit the cemetery, ahuhu~." she told the man, winking at him. "But anyway, we'll see you there~"
Leaving the man with more questions than he originally had, Mei left the bar and headed towards Shine Cemetery.

GRAND LAND THE STAGE:
The Cool Girl stood there, as the crowd went wild, for what felt like about 2 years and 8 months. What did she just see? Her trademark shades had left her face in shock, as she watched security drag away the pointy-haired idol M3LO-D, and paramedics cart away a middle-aged man badly disguised as her.
Snapping back into reality, the Cool Girl whirled around, grabbing a fan by the scruff of his neck.
"You! What just happened here!?"
"Oh shit a girl is touching me" The dude said, "Well, M3LO-D just did an epic prank on the Cool Girl, you won't believe what happens next! It's going on Idol Funny Moments Compilation for sure! M3LO-D must have really hated that bitch!"
Cool Girl released the bastard, taking out her phone-- Sure as day, there were tons of trending YouTube videos of "EPIC IDOL SMACKDOWN: M3LO-D OWNS THE COOL GIRL" "THE COOL GIRL PUT ON ICE BY M3LO-D. YOU WONT BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT" "TOP TEN IDOL BATTLES BY WATCH MOJO"
Cool Girl's eyes widened as she watched Melody smash her fists into the "cool girl's" face repeatedly, with the vigor and fury of a raging tsunami...
If I hadn't skipped out... That would have been me. I could have definitely taken her but that fury.. She wanted me dead!
CG remembered her fathers' words:
"I won't stop you, Stephanie, but listen to me; the Idol business is a fucking nightmare. It's not fun and games. These girls will tear each other apart, if the machinery of the industry doesn't grind them up like paste. I won't stop you from doing this, but I won't interfere either. You're on your own."
The Cool Girl clenched her teeth, then slowly, slipped her signature shades back on.
You think that'll scare me away, you pointy-ass bitch? I've taken bigger than you. You think you can beat me... But nobody takes down the Cool Girl. It's like Dad always says; you have to earn your spot at the top. I'm going to take you down, M3LO-D.
And...
The Cool Girl took out her phone, and scrolled through until she'd found a photo of Aya Radiata.
I'm not gonna do it alone.

Shine Cemetary - Red Blood Love:
The past few moments kept racing around in Zoie's mind. The hug, the hug, the hug the hug the hug the hug thehugthehugthehugthehug............. Zoie wasn't a hugger. At all. Every muscle in her body was tense, and Gretta could feel it, though at the moment, she couldn't think of anything else she could do.
"...Because I am now your mother. and what a mother should always do is think of her children before themselves. I beg you to never leave me."
Zoie didn't actively resist at first, though as the hug drew on and on, Zoie was reminded more and more of a certain unpleasant figure in her life. Zoie noticed her shoulder felt a little damp as Gretta started weeping, and that was about the moment she decided enough was enough. She started struggling, trying to push Gretta away from her, so she could have some damn space.
"Okay, okay! Just... don't do that again! And please stop calling yourself my mom. Just... don't." She fidgeted in place for a few moments. Much as she tried to avoid it, the mental image came into her mind of Gretta with her mother's face. She shuddered. A few moments of silence passed before Zoie looked up toward Gretta's face. It was obvious she wasn't taking it well, not that Zoie supposed she should expect her to. She just knew she had to do something to break the tension, so she spoke up. "So... what do we do now? Wanna... I dunno, do something to take your mind off this? ...Ugh. I'm not good at this comfort stuff..."
Gretta let out a few sniffles, and wiped clean the rivulets running down her face. If she were truly taking the responsibility of raising Zoie, it wouldn't do for her to look so vulnerable all the time. She tried to put on a brave smile, but the pockets of water still welling up in her eyes and her stammery speech betrayed her intentions.
"Yo-You're doing... You're doing just fine, Zoie... D-Did you have any... anything in mind...?"

FamiTune Records Ltd.
Why does a flower wilt? Why does the porcelain doll crack? What breaks the idol?
Itoshino Manabu turned off the cell phone and looked out his window. You'd imagine that the head of one of the largest record labels in the country, if not the world, would have a particularly ostentatious office. But Manabu didn't go for that. Instead, his office was a small first floor office, furnished sparsely and simply besides one surprisingly elegant bonsai tree on his desk, with a window looking out at the streets of Gyudon. He sighs and runs his hand through his hair.
"Tips?"
The only other person in the office pipes up and asks an obvious question she already knows the answer to. An idol, ostensibly, dressed in completely plain and boring street clothes and with a face that is unmistakably dull. If she even is an idol, she's an amazingly obscure one. She finishes her can of coffee as she speaks.
"Mm." Manabu nods gravely. "But you already knew that. Or, that is to say, I'm well aware that you're aware of the whole Melody situation."
"Yeah. As always, making a mess and calling trouble is all that girl gets up to." The girl tilts her head. "Or maybe it's 'Tips got what he deserved'?"
"Both are correct." Manabu folds his arms. "But neither are correct."
"How very you." The girl clicks her tongue. "Need me to sort out her career for her?"
This time Manabu shakes his head and sits back down at his desk. He peers over his folded hands and looks the girl in the eye.
"There's no need for you to get your hands dirty. Actually, the controversy of this whole situation may have sent our industry spiralling a little but... Well, we can always rebrand, repackage, recommodify our little defective productive."
"No news is bad news!"
"Exactly." Manabu nods. "But that's irrelevant, at present. Right now I need to reaffirm the situation and check on the situation, and then... Ah, but that's a bore to you."
"I don't mind being bored. Boredom is fundamentally honest."
"Yes. That's true. But I have a better purpose for you. Take the next bullet train and go to Dogyo, Shiren co could do with your help. And, while you're there, please watch over our wayward daughters until the storm passes."
"Only if I want to."
"Of course."
The girl nods, pleased, and gets up to leave. As she does, she picks up her backpack and flicks the FamiTune mascot keychain on it. With a wave, and a polite bow, she exits the room.
Manabu smiles, a little more at ease, without her in the room and picks up his phone.
Dogyo Minimum-Security Private Prison
"Phone call for Melody Urashima."
The guard, a towering man with scars all over his body lead Melody through the cells to the phone room. From behind the bars, other prisoners glared at her with hard eyes, sneered at her with twisted faces and smirked at her with grotesque smiles. The infamous "Arsonist Idol" Pyromanica, the manager who killed and ate his favourite client, that one guy who got caught for tax fraud... Dangerous criminals, the whole lot, all in minimum security semi-cushy cages thanks to them falling into that sweet spot of high profile enough to be treated laxly but not famous or rich enough to get away with their crimes. Did Tips put her in here out of kindness or malice... A jungle of divas and elites.
Melody sat down on the faux-velvet armchair and took the phone and put it to her ear.
"Melody? Hi. It's Manabu from FamiTune." The man on the other end didn't even wait for her response. "We need to have a little chat. About your behaviour. About your future. About your debt...
But first. Why do people become idols?"
