An hour or two passed, and Riho finally left her bedroom, though still looking very... tired, Saya could've supposed. Her head was down and her feet were dragging. When Saya noticed Riho turn into the room, she stood up from her seat at the table and motioned her over. The list she composed sat neatly on the table, positioned just so Riho could read it over Saya's shoulder.
"This is...?" began Riho.
"You were really obviously upset over how you did in yesterday's performance, right? You kept fumbling over yourself, and it was kind of sad." Riho's head dipped down a bit further. "Look, I'm sure you're keenly aware that reflection is the first step in improving, even if it sounds... rude at first," Saya reassured, and then continued. "Basically, you're bad at... acrobatics, you could say, and I wanted to improve that any way I could."
"And how is this list related to that?" Riho asked. "I don't see acrobatics lessons anywhere on here."
"Yeah, see, that's the problem," Saya said, putting the pencil eraser to her lip. "We don't have a whole lot of time to take professional lessons, considering our already tight schedule. So-"
"The schedule really isn't all that tight..."
"...Okay, it isn't," Saya conceded, rolling her eyes quickly while ejecting the pencil from her mouth. "But still! We need to make money fast, and also I couldn't actually find any Dogyo listings for "acrobatics lessons" in the phone book."
"You checked the... phone book?" Riho's mouth was a little agape in a clear sneer.
Saya shut her eyes and breathed out. "That's not the point, Yaginuma. Look, it doesn't matter, point is, I made this list," Saya asserted almost melodically, motioning towards the piece of paper. "It has stuff we can buy that might improve you acrobatic ability during a show."
"Ah," Riho said, lifting her head only momentarily before it dives down again to actually read the list. "Juggling pins, $15...? You want me to juggle?"
"Yep," stated Saya resolutely.
Riho went down to the next item. "A deck of cards, $5. How does that help, exactly?"
"Card tricks," again stated Saya resolutely.
And the next one. "A... leotard?" For 30 bucks. "Hiraizumi, we're not going out on stage without our usual dresses. It was part of the contract."
"No, no, no," Saya interjected, shaking her hands in Riho's direction, "You don't have to wear it. Just kind of, hold it during the show and... use it."
"...Use it?"
"Use it."
Riho brushed aside her hair and rubbed at her eyes. The hair fell back in its displacement shortly after. "And... a $30 pair of tennis shoes."
"You might want to wear those, actually. Doing jumps and flips in heels is very difficult, so I'd want to reduce that difficulty on you. It's not like it's THAT noticeable."
"That one's the first smart thing on this list, actually. I'll see about that."
"But we're getting all of this. We have $700, remember?"
"Fine, fine," Riho allowed, "I'll use it if that's what you really want." Saya smiled in response. "Next is magnets, for 5 bu- no, you crossed that off, 25 bucks."
"I thought the powerful neodyniums were in order. To really make sure you stick to stuff you jump on."
"What venue is open that'll have... what, a metal box nearby? A metal ceiling?"
Saya gazed out the window while she thought. "The... junkyard would have a lot of metal?" She quickly ended that and looked back at Riho. "Look, it'll work, trust me."
"What's this you wrote down?" Riho continued. "A rollcage. A $500 rollcage. I'm not a car."
Saya gestured apologetically, smiling again. "That's why I crossed it off, didn't I?"
"But why would you have-" Riho interrupted herself, before looking back down at the list. "Never mind. A 30 peso fishnet. That's still a major change to the costume, and I don't see how it could even slightly make moving around easier."
"Wait, what?" Saya let out, but she quickly recovered from her confusion. "No, I mean a literal fish net. The kind for netting fish. It'll work as a safety net for the more dangerous jumps."
"...You can deal with the logistics of that if you're so willing to buy this stuff," dismissed Riho. "Finally... an $80 spotlight."
"Professional cinematography grade!" Saya added, giving a thumbs up. "That one just generally makes us look better in shows. Plus, the dramatic lighting could hide how bad some of your mess-ups are."
Riho didn't question how good cinematographical spotlights were considering films don't, like, ever use spotlights. Instead she brought up, "So, who'd operate it?"
"Good point. Add another $20 dollars to that."
"Right, so a $100 spotlight. That's everything on the list."
And later that day, Saya went to the assorted goods store and bought them all. Everything in bold. They have that now and can now use them in a venue.
Saya checked her wallet to see that, including that 12-cent pack of soda from yesterday Riho bought, the group now had $443.88. Hold on, is that right? Saya was sure the total would be something else. But maybe she's mistaken?

Red Blood Love Offices/Gretta's department:
"Adieu mes beaux profits, ugh, 3 dollars that's the price of the cupcakes." Gretta says with a tone of sadness while watching Zoie enjoy her 3 dollars Red Bloody Chocolate cupcake. "We aren't going to win that much, but the purpose of this is to start getting popular with the crowd." She looks at her bills on her phone and notices that she has $150 after buying the ingredients for, the now, 29 cupcakes she made. She let's out a small sigh."With the money that e win from the cupcakes I'll take you somewhere nice to have dinner." Gretta felt a little bit guilty that her income wasn't that much, luckily, she only had to pay her taxes and food, one of her father's contacts pays her college and recently Zoie's school too. The department was of her mother, who had buyed it when she graduated from college.
"Anyway, are you ready to go? Because I'm not, I still have to dress up." She stops talking to think about something for a second."What outfit should we use for this occasion?"

Red Blood Love offices:
"Don't French me." Zoie licked her fingers clean of cupcake crumbs. "And really? Dinner? I know you're trying to be nice, but we should hang onto that. I can deal with ramen again. It's fine." Zoie's dull green eyes started drifting away from Gretta before she caught herself and made eye contact again.
"Why should I tell you what to wear? Shouldn't it be the other way around?" Zoie hesitated for a moment and sighed. "I'll go get in my stage outfit... freaking hate that thing."
A few minutes later, Zoie emerged from a hidden space in Gretta's office space with her idol outfit on. She had a deep purple top that hugged her still-developing curves, with red markings all over it. Notably, over where her heart was, there was a heart shape with a stake through it. It looked like blood was dripping from the heart shape over the rest of the top. Her pants were also skintight and deep purple, but sparkly and glittery.
"Let's get this over with, already. The less time I have to spend in this dumb outfit, the better."
Gwendalyn's office:
Gwen's door flew open, and out came a twirling Gwendalyn, smile plastered all over her face. She had found a few new songs for Aya to try out, worked on her dance moves a little, and even managed to get rid of a little bit of that nasty smell in her office! Pretty productive day, if Gwen had to say so herself! Gwen didn't know how much of the day there was left, though... she could always sleep, or nap, or whatever was appropriate. Hmm, nah. Gwen decided to wander aimlessly for a little while. She didn't need to be home, yet, she didn't think.

Monster Dust Apartment - Meiryo Osaka
While Kawako was taking her time in the shower, likely washing off all that garbage that refused to come off after their successful impromptu performance at the school earlier, Meiryo was sitting by the table and taking the time to write in a small pink notebook with a red heart and white skull design on the front, made of a reflective colored metal. She'd already changed the light bulb and tape the broken window shut, as evidenced by the box of light bulbs that lay open in front of her and a roll of duct tape could be seen beside it. She also had a small netbook set up near her, plugged in and online. She was browsing a news site, looking for reports on anything noteworthy that had transpired earlier today. It wasn't particularly surprising when she saw that they weren't the only idols that performed at the school earlier. In fact, a good number of groups had performed just before they arrived, each with varying degrees of success.
Meiryo stretched her arms and browsed the news site for further stories. Kusogamine's gym was on fire and the faculty faced charges for the defiling of a teacher's corpse. The school also had reports of multiple duct tape related injuries among a lesser number of deaths from much more deadly sources after another idol group's performance. Strangely enough, a new tag was trending online around the same time of the report. At that point, she'd read enough. Honestly, the stories she'd read we're that surprising for her.
Meiryo gently closed the netbook and put it aside with a yawn. She took off her glow-in-the-dark contacts and rubbed the exhaustion out of her eyes. Earlier she had just finished financing their earnings from their performance, as evidenced by the evenly split stacks of money beside her. 250$ for both herself and Kawako, as they had agreed one when they first started their idol group. It was something they both had wanted to do for some time now, although possibly for different reasons. For Meiryo, seeing the sudden rise in popularity of several idol groups gave her a feeling that she'd have her own kind of fun working in the industry. She needed a partner of course, and it didn't take much convincing to get Kawako on board.
She glanced over at the entry she wrote in her diary that detailed their successful performance and even the shenanigans from earlier this morning, it even included a summary of the articles she read. She takes up her pen again and writes the following at the top of the page:
She closes the diary afterwards and stores it inside her winter coat, safe and snug near her heart. At around this time Kawako had finished showering. Meiryo took a deep-breath, fixed herself up and practiced her smile.
"Thank you Kawako-san! You did really well at the end there too. See what happens if you keep on trying? You'll eventually get it right! Ahuhu~" Mei says with a giggle, covering her mouth with the tip of her fingers. "You really need to practice your balance though! We can't have you falling around the stage in all our performances, now can we?"
Mei gets up from the table and does a few stretches. She takes her share of the money and pockets it on her way to the door. "Anyway Kawako-san, I'll head out and probably go home. I can't sleep in an office place, that would be unprofessional! Your share of the money is on the table, right under your DVD for Assault on Giant! Byeeeee~"
Meiryo closes the door behind her and heads for the lobby. Maybe she'd go up to her favorite spot before she left. She calls the elevator going up and gets in. There was only one other person there, though they were accompanied by a lot of groceries. Meiryo presses the button for the top floor and stays in place. She smiles and greets the woman.
"How was your day, neighbour?"

Melody glanced over at the girl who'd stepped into the elevator beside her-- She was dressed rather showily; was she an idol as well? Melody had to admit she wasn't too well-versed in the other idols in her field; she'd only really paid attention to the really famous ones. She herself probably didn't look too professional, what with still being halfway in costume and all. Luckily she was erring more on the side of "casual" Melody tonight, and so could avoid any nasty confrontations should there be any.
"Oh, my day?" Melody racked her brains for the right words. "It was... productive. Got a lot done. Had a lot to take care of."
Her mind flashed back to Shigeru's texts, and she wondered if maybe this girl knew anything about it.
"...S-Say, you wouldn't happen to know anything about any... Bees... In the building, would you?"

"Bees...?" Meiryo blinks at the woman, not sure whether or not she was serious with her question. The way the woman was dressed came off as strange to her, almost as if she was blurring the lines between casual and flashy. Traces of make up on her face catch Meiryo's eye and she's skeptical of it. Though she brushes the thought aside for now and considers the question. A certain song starts playing in the elevator to aid her thoughts. There is a brand-new minifridge among the groceries the woman has with her and this rings a bell. Hadn't Kawako told her something about a fridge earlier? "Oh! You must be related to the fridge that fell out an upstairs' window earlier." Meiryo speaks up, recalling seeing a window outside the apartment that, much like their own, had looked like something had been thrown out of it. Though when in Meiryo's case that was Kawako, for these people it was a fridge that had something to do with bees. "I thought that was strange... I did hear some screaming coming from upstairs earlier and my room mate trashed our apartment at some point trying to kill a stray bee. Our window is broken too you see, she fell out of it earlier, that's probably how a bee got in. She really is a klutz!" She stops herself from rambling any further to the woman and introduces herself. "Sorry, my name's Mieryo Osaka! I sometimes live on the second floor with my partner. What's your name?" she says, looking at the woman with her cheerful, almost glowing, green eyes.

"It's, uh, Melody. Melody Urashima." Melody replied, her mouth growing into a wrinkled smile. Oh boy. The landlord was gonna kill her for this-- Wait, had she said "fallen out"? Of the window?? On the fourth floor? "Oh my goodness," Melody said, "I-Is she alright? Your partner, I mean." How on earth do you become such a klutz that you fall out your own window?? ....Then again, how do you let 200 bees into the house, somehow destroy a fridge, and also the window? Maybe I'm in no position to judge.

"Melody? That's a nice name. Sounds familiar even~" Meiryo remarks with a giggle. "And don't worry, she's fine. This kind of stuff happens to her all the time. You get used to it, along with all the bills and repairs. She's starting to learn how to balance herself, but it'll take some time before any differences can be noticed." One gets the feeling that she's more amused by rather than concerned for her friend with the tone she spoke in, as if they're whole life was just some sort of unending comedy routine on some reality TV show.
Meiryo's balancing on the soles of her feet as the elevator slowly climbs towards its destination. She takes another look at all the groceries in the elevator and wonders if Melody can really carry that all by herself. Well, she did manage to make it this far so she must be okay. Still, it wouldn't hurt to offer assistance.
"Say, Melody?" Meiryo says, calling Melody's attention, her balance shifting back and forth between the soles and balls of her feet. "Do you need any help carrying these to your apartment? I know I may look small but I'm stronger than I look!" As if to prove her point she flexes her arm... which was completely covered by her winter coat, failing to show any form of muscle at all.
"Or if you like, I can watch over your bags while you go deal with the bees. I don't mind, not like I was heading anywhere important."
The elevator doors open and Meiryo places her hand on the button to keep them that way. She looks at Melody expectantly, her green eyes still as cheery as ever.

"Um, no, that's fine!" Melody said, hoping her rejection wasn't too strong. "I'm probably gonna need everything I brought here."
The doors opened, and the sound of buzzing bees echoed through the nearby hall. Oh boy. She didn't want to involve anyone else in this, both for whatever dignity she had left and because god knows how many people around here were allergic to bees.
"W-well, it was nice speaking with you, Meiryo." Melody said, dragging her cargo through the doors, "I guess I'll see you around. I hope your partner... um... improves her balance."

Riho looked over the pile of stuff Saya had just bought. It wasn't a lot, being only seven separate things. Or, a few more than that, if you didn't inclue all the magnets as one thing. And then one more for both shoes. But it was a very eclectic bunch.
"Let it be known I'm probably not going to use it all," admitted Riho. "I'll bring it, but..." she picked up the leotard like it were the tail of a rat, a look of cringe manifesting on her face, "some of this stuff isn't going to be useful."
Saya sighed and crossed her arms. "Use some of it, at least. This wasn't free to purchase. Let's just head to the park for the next performance."

"Aaaw, okay Melody." says Meiryo, pouting. She was really hoping she could tag along and make new friends. Maybe she'd stop by and visit one day, when she wasn't busy that is.
"Bye Melody~" she says, waving Melody goodbye with a smile while standing on the tip of her toes. "Good luck with the bees! Show them that they're not hip or sexually appealing at all!"
The elevator door remains open as Meiryo keeps on waving until Melody is out of sight.
Melody, huh?
The doors to the elevator are closing but Meiryo slips right through the gap and into the elevator lobby. Stealthily, she peeks down the corridors, seeing which way Melody went. She observes from afar, hiding in the small indented gaps of each doorway as she maintains a set distance.

Well, that was bizarre... I mean, first that weird girl from the supermarket and now her... I'm beginning to think... Nah, I'm just being paranoid.
Still, the hallway seemed strangely longer than ever before-- It seemed like it was taking ages, and her legs and arms were already starting to wear out. It wasn't exactly easy to speedwalk with a minifridge weighing you down.
The doors whizzed past her head, the numbers catching her eye and then flying off behind her, but they couldn't seem to go fast enough. The lights outside were dimming, lighting the hall with the not exactly spectacular lights from inside, and her bag kept making this annoying scraping sound as she walked.
Wait.
Melody glanced down, only to see her bags were nowhere near the floor. She stopped, and realized that the scraping sound was still going, rhythmically, from behind.
She slowly turned around, the corner of her mouth sinking lower and lower. Please don't let this be what I think it is please don't let this be what I think it is oh god it's what I think it is
Melody simply stared at the girl clinging to the walls, her eyes widening to fill up 50% of her saucer-sized glasses.
Then, without another word, she bolted as fast as she could to her room at the end of the hall.

Hm... Maybe using duct tape to cling to the walls wasn't such a good idea. For some reason she thought being on the wall would help her stay quiet, but duct tape was the exact opposite of that. Meiryo dismounted her self from the wall and landed with a back flip. She removed the duct tape and hid herself in the shadow of a doorway, disappearing from line-of-sight. She shouldn't be scaring people she just met. However, she did want to know more about Melody. She'd need to wait for an opportunity to present itself to her before she moved out of cover.
For the meantime, Meiryo took our her diary and started writing in it. That name was familiar to her. The way Melody was dressed couldn't just be a little coincidence. Not in today's society brimming with idols.
