Pleasanton Papers
Pleasanton Papers is the home of all of Pleasanton's Journalism. Cranking out the daily paper, you'll see it's employees hard at work writing out articles on computers or even typewriters! A flurry of activity is always present within Pleasanton Papers.
Architecturally, it's divided into three sections. A simple lobby, the offices and the actual printing press.
The lobby is composed of a simple wooden room. It has a single, off-colour green couch sitting next to a plastic potted plant. In front of it is a glass coffee table, on which sits today's issue of the paper and an ashtray. Naturally, there is a large reception desk. On top of said desk, sits a telephone. And behind said desk, sits a computer and an office chair. Tucked away in a small hall next to the desk is a clean-looking, old-fashioned wooden elevator.
The second floor is the office area, it's floor covered in loose papers and ink stains. Wooden doors with small windows in them line what amounts to a long corridor, finally ending at the office of the Cornelius Stonewall, head of the newspaper. Naturally, the window to his office is always obscured with the smoke of cigars...
Down in the basement is the printing press. Large, cold and mechanical... It churns out the daily paper at an alarming rate.
