Name: Saburo Yamauchi
Age: 15 (first year high school student)
Gender: Male
Arcana: Emperor
Appearance: Saburo is a total shrimp. 5' tall even, very slim build, messy as all hell black hair and brown eyes with sharp facial features, he is of disastrously poor and immature grooming. His face is surprisingly free of scars or any telltale signs of someone who's been in a few scraps. He does not look at all the part of a motorcycle gang banger thanks to his incredibly short stature. His school uniform seems a little too big on him, like he insists he'll grow into it so large the sleeves will come right off (they will not, they will never). This theme of "not quite a fit" continues all the way to his biking gang uniform, an oversized dark brown trenchcoat full of more or less fancy and empty symbolism that the second-oldest brother used to wear. I'm keeping it vague since I'd rather leave it up to prospective artist interpretation - I'm not that picky about his appearance or small details beyond conveying the theme that he is nowhere near as big a man as he presents himself as.
Weapon Type: Knuckles/Gloves (He is a brawler and not a trained martial artist, very rough and scrappy in form. It's arguable that at least one or two of the cast would technically be a better hand-to-hand fighter in terms of both skill and strength, this is just his weapon type. He's not strong, smart, nor all that tough, but boy is he quick to come in swingin'! Going in barehanded is his idea of proving his manliness and strength.)
Personality: Saburo is a punk. He is disrespectful, loud, noxious, hot-tempered and all-around a troublesome young man who stands little to no chance of ever contributing much to polite society. The third son of the head of the local branch of a national organized crime family (take a wild guess), he is very proud of his heritage. He frequently cites it when challenged, or oftentimes just for the hell of it to reassert his standing. He shows no effort in schoolwork, is not very nice to his peers, and otherwise treats Osenjima like the personal playground of the biker gang he's a part of. (He is not old enough to legally operate one, but good luck having law enforcement say otherwise to his face... good thing he's proven to be an all right enough driver despite every reason for him to find himself horribly mangled in some traffic accident by now.)
The really interesting thing about him - maybe the one nugget of a redeeming value in him - is that while he lives to try and intimidate people into his bidding due to the standing of his family relations, he actually does not think that highly of bullies who pick on smaller and completely weaker people. This is hard to see because relative to his peers, he is smaller and weaker than just about anyone who is not sickly. This is the pattern with him, he's trying to prove himself to people far bigger than him... but not those few who actually are weaker than he is. He really hates it when weak people get bullied, because he himself sort of is! There is a genuine shred of empathy within him! Sure, he's seen his own family do it to people who won't pay up protection or what have you, but he never spoke out about it before because it was family business. Maybe if this bit of him can be nurtured, he could stand to be a better man... it's, uh, gonna take a lot of doing, to put it mildly.
Backstory: Saburo's family established itself in Osenjima in its inception. Their shady business has been entrenched within it since. Blah, blah, blah. Present day, the current head of the family has three sons. Their names are not fancy - Ichiro, Jiro, Saburo. Ichiro, a dutiful and almost stoic son whose presence commands respect and fear. Jiro, something of a black sheep who had dreams of something more artistic and free of intrigue. Saburo... well. He's already well-described above. Looking up to his older brothers, he liked to imitate them and ultimately wanted to follow in their (highly contradictory) footsteps. Since there were already two in front of him in line, he was never expected to really have to take up the mantle of the family's head.
Jiro would never get to fully walk either the path he was hoping to embark on, nor the one his family heritage could have seen him hold a high position within. He was killed by a rival biker who ran him over with their motorcycle when the second son was invited to ride along, given the jacket and colors of the gang - the only time he'd wear it. (name)'s family buckled down a bit on them for their safety, but Ichiro was a very strong young man who did not let this tragedy break his stride. For lack of a better influence, Saburo decided honoring Jiro's memory meant being an even bigger hellion than he was already shaping up to be... but there were few people willing to dissuade him. While juvenile delinquent biker gangs have been dwindling into becoming a thing of the past, Ichiro would go on to lead about as respectably sized a gang as he could from Osenjima... and Saburo would happily tag along, being one big mouth to contribute to a bunch of older young men who would still somehow find pockets of people who were willing to fight. He'd wear Jiro's coat as a thing of remembrance, though it was far too large for him. (It still is.)
A few years pass. Going into high school at 15, Saburo would bear witness to the beginning of Ichiro's decline from leading a delinquent biker gang. He was 19 - at 20, one becomes eligible for an actual criminal record, and as such his days of openly causing mischief would come to an end. Saburo, his younger brother, would be next in line... but Saburo inspired nothing beyond his connections. He was weak in stature, low in respect, and really only got to pal around because of his older brother. In a year's time or less, all hell would certainly break loose given the one strong link that held them together would have to leave the lifestyle... but what a year it'll be, with Saburo still thinking he'd have it all under control as he begins his first (and maybe even most important) year of his high school career at Osenjima High.
IMPORTANT PLAYER NOTE: I'll be up front and say that I do not have great experience with this sort of thing from some years back. I'm willing to give this a shot since I'd like to practice writing a very rude and adversarial personality among at least a familiar group of writers, and my current writing haunts aren't that great for this sort of thing.
I can't guarantee I'll be the most active player as seen elsewhere, but I'll put in an honest effort where I can. Worse comes to worse, this guy is the sort of personality that would make for a good sacrifice to sell the story's credible threats.
