Aha! This was it! Now was the chance to strike! Time for another Uguu!
Roll: 5 Distraction roll: 1
And who said bullheaded stubbornness didn't pay off! That one was cute enough to woo the elderly crowd just a little bit more and perhaps pierce Roxie's heart like a stake! But not exactly! But good enough!

Roxie felt a hammering in her chest. Instead of attacking Roxie decided that it was time for the bats to return to their homes instead of hanging around here.
Roll for recovery: 6 Roll: 2
She managed to convince three bats to land on the coffin. Three more just flew in circles around her head, constantly obscuring her vision.

Well. There was nothing left for Aya to do but to start bringing her stiletto down on Roxie's head.
Roll: 6
Except she missed because violence is bad. Roxie only suffered the one damage because as it turns out, old people don't like bats very much.

Roxie just continued to gather all of the bats that were still flying around the building. Those same three bats still just continued to fly in circles around her head. So she turned her attention to them.
Roll for recovery: 9 Roll: 3
She made another attempt to control those three pesky bats. The only effect was for another bat to join the circle.

It seemed like those bats were really becoming a problem. Well, what sort of person would Aya be not to try to help? She tried to shoo away some of the bats with her broom.
Roll: 1
She manages to get one of the bats back onto the coffin. And accidentally bops Roxie for one in doing so. But she's helping!

Roxie felt something hit her head. Hard. The first thing that she saw was that there were only three bats flying in front of her face. Well, at least one of the bats had stopped flying around her head.
Roll for recovery: 8 Roll: 2
The bats started to fly in smaller circles, blocking even more of her vision. And they still wouldn't listen to her.

Well, if it's working, keep doing it! Aya kept waving her broom around getting dust everywhere except for herself.
Roll: 5
She managed to get another bat back onto the coffin, but scared another into going back into the circle. What a shame.

Another bop on the head. Roxie was so busy dealing with the bats that she barely felt it.
Roll for recovery: 4
The last of the bats flew to the coffin. At which point they grabbed the coffin and flew away with it. Roxie ran back to the stage to use Kyun! Vampire Girl.
TP: 2/15
Roll: 4 Stage Fright roll: 15
Hit. 12 damage. No stage fright, but at least it was something.

The force of Roxie's non-specific attack sent Aya skidding across the stage, and eventually, off of it. But it was only twelve damage, so she was fine.
Only twelve.
Something seemed wrong about that. Aya slowly got up and dusted off her clothes again. She climbed up onto the stage again, looking no more inconvenienced than if a sharp gust of wind had hit her. This was fine. If she was going to pull out the big guns, then Aya would as well. And unfortunately for Roxie, she didn't have the stamina left to deal with Aya's big guns.
Aya used Radiant Dawn!
With a grand, if stiff, flourish of her arm and a little Idol MagicTM, the spotlights shined a white light twice as bright as they should've been able to put out onto the stage, harming Roxie for six, and healing Aya for ten. Blindness checks now were irrelevant.
Shining Destiny is victorious. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Most of the elderly audience had fallen asleep at this point. It turns out that complete grind-fests like this aren't exactly exciting, but that didn't stop a few people from clapping. Aya gave her sure-to-be new fans a stiff bow, before stepping off-stage. One lady was generous enough to give Aya a significant amount of what little retirement money she had left.
Aya gazed upon the rest of her audience. The crowd at Coolmeyer's ended up quite similar to this: unresponsive in some way or another. Were all idol performances like this...?
SHINING SUCCESS! Aya gained +1 Fame and $1100, knfrmd Ojou-sama
DEATHLY DEFEAT! Roxie lost 1 Fame and wins nothing.
