GAME START
The sun shines down on Morioh as the early morning rush begins. Like any other summer day in the resort town, tourists rampage through each of the districts admiring the sights. The bay district beach is covered with people in bathing suits and boats are sprawled out across the bay. In the shopping district, you’d be lucky not to bump shoulders with someone. Not only are there plenty of folks ready to empty their wallets, there is also someone standing outside nearly every shop trying to reel in every potential customer. The Town Centre is not much better as businessmen and politicians make their way to their respective places of business, and the same could be said about the residential district with students heading towards the elementary and high schools. Also in the residential district, the park is filled with old people taking walks and pet owners with their dogs and cats. They only seemingly quiet place is the abandoned area as the construction won’t start for a few more hours and any tourists willing to explore the area are few and far between.
This truly looks to be a normal day in this town of Morioh; however, there was something far more bizarre occurring behind the scenes.
Welcome to…
JoJo’s Bizarre Roleplay: Summer is Forever!
Our story begins at the Morioh Police Department...
July 21 07:00 ~Mori mori mori mori Morioh-cho radio~ We're live, Morioh-cho.“Goooooooood morning Morioh-cho! Ready for another beeeeeautiful summer day? Today is the 21st of July, and we are going to celebrate it like it is the last day of our life! The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and soothing breezes bring life to this town of ours. Yes! What a great day it is to be here in Morioh!” The broadcast continued to echo out of the radio into the police station. The station itself was decent in size, three stories and was filled with little office spaces for the different officers and detectives. At a certain desk on the first floor sat a certain officer with a pile of paperwork in front of him. Officer Ryohei Higashikata was written on the nameplate hanging off the front of the desk. As he moved his pen to fill out the forms in front of him, the officer occasionally paused with a pensive look on his face before continuing on. Ryohei Higashikata, some might call him the hero of this story; however, most would just refer to him as your typical cop. Dressed in his stylish police uniform, this youthful man truly emphasizes the best that the Morioh precinct could offer. Did I mention he is in his mid-forties? Indeed, this teenage-looking man is in the middle in his life. Though Ryohei starts the day just like any ordinary day, he is soon to see that it will be the most bizarre day of his life. *sigh* “What a pain in the ass it is to fill out these papers.” Groaned our Officer Higashikata. An officer sitting near him let out a laugh then responded, “You say the same goddamn thing every day JoJo, just like a broken high school student on repeat.” Another important thing you should know about Officer Higashikata is that his cop-buddies gave him the nickname JoJo due to some incident on the job back when he started. “I can’t help it,” Ryouhei retorted, “I’d much rather be out there actually doing something.” “Well, unless you get that paperwork done, you ain’t going anywhere.” The other officer said with a condescending grin. Irritable, Ryouhei tried to focus his anger on finishing the paperwork. He had only a few pages left to fill out, but each minute sitting at his desk felt like an eternity. Event: “The Police” Description: Start of a Role-play. Get to know the town and interact with the first NPC. Once Ryouhei finishes his paperwork, he will go out into Morioh and be available for all of you to meet. That is if you’re not brazen enough to interrupt him while finishing his paperwork. Enjoy this time of peace as things get more bizarre later.

"Ah, what a beautiful Morioh. I'm sure no other place in the world is as beautiful as our fair town! Why, looking at the clear skies... I can't help but feel like going on a picnic."
Yoshiru Motobu straightens his tie and cracks his neck as he turns away from his office window. Whether or not he stood in front of the window so that he'd be backlit by the sunlight in a way that makes him look almost like some sort of messianic archtypical character that pretty much every stroy is wont to include these days, we'll never know. Knowing Yoshiru, though? It's pretty likely.
Nah, Buddy. You don't get it. I'm no godlike being, no heroic figure. I'm just a lawyer who knows what's best, you dig? What's best for me, you and Morioh, too.
"How was that?" He puffs out his chest and pats down his lapels as his advisors nod their heads.
"Oh, yes. Yes, Mr. Mayor. That's it." One advisor (a balding old man with glasses as thick as Kogorou Mouri) piped up, dabbing at his head with a handkerchief and hoping that no-one notices that (while a semi-decent paralegal) his knowledge of politics was about as extensive as Baby's First Encyclopedia is on subjects of advanced calculus.
I personally found it a little lacking, honestly. But who cares what I think, right?
It was the inflection at the end, wasn't it?
It's more the fact that I have no idea where you're going to find the time to have a picnic once the campaign trail really begins.
Everybody's got to eat!
Eh. Far be it for me to advise not getting fresh air and sunlight, I suppose...
"Then it's decided!" He smacks his desk with such gusto that his nameplate wobbles violently. "We'll run with this speech! And I'll go get a sandwich from the nice sandwich place! Any objections?"
Yeah, I object.
Shoot.
I don't like pickles.
I didn't say anything about pickles.
Yeah, but... You always get the one with pickles.
Fine. No pickles today.
Okay, then. The prosecution rests.
You're the prosecution, here?
With objections sustained, Yoshiru Motobu heads to the nice sandwich shop to get himself a quick bite to eat.

The Marquis of Meats - Shopping District
"Clean floors, clean work stations, clean kitchen, satisfactory food quality, fantastic customer service. It appears once again, you guys..." Monty turned to the employees behind the register, pointing finger guns. "...Have passed the daily inspection! Pat yourselves on the back, round of applause, all of you!"
The Marquis of Meats seemed to have been decorated by someone with very little skill at decoration. The walls were a boring shade of orange, made to look like those of a dungeon, with lamps shaped like torches attached to them and some cheaply made tapestries. The floors, while impeccably clean, were tiled in such a way that there always appeared to be a stain on them. The chairs and tables were about what you'd expect from a fast food restaurant. The crowning glory of the place was its mascot, the Marquis himself. Dressed in a garish green coat, a black domino mask, and an 18th century powdered wig, his image was plastered all about, including on some of the tapestries.
"Good job as always, though I don't expect any less from you all! I'll be back around the lunch rush to see how things are going again. Adios for now!" he said, shuffling toward the door and taking a brief step outside. He stopped at the sight before him. He had to take off his shades to make sure he wasn't seeing things.
He then turned back around and entered the restaurant. "Excuse me, could one of you do me a favor?" The employees had all more or less dispersed, going off to various corners to slack off until people actually started showing up, before turning to attention at the sight of their boss. He looked around, pointing his finger, before eventually deciding on the young lady managing the register. "You, uh... Jenny, was it?"
"Well, actually, sir, it's-" she began to respond, but he quickly cut her off. "That's not important right now, Jenny. I need you to do something for me. Could you step outside and tell me what you see across the street?" The unenthusiastic cashier sighed, then walked out from behind the register, and out the door, before reentering. "It's the Burger Sheriff, sir."
"Yes, that's right! Ever a thorn in our side, isn't he! And now they've brought him right to our doorstep!" Monty said, pacing around the room. The rival chain had been competing with the Marquis for quite some time, but never in such close proximity. The dead-eyed lawman's face gazed down from atop the the place, right towards the Marquis. "Now, you all may be thinking, what does this mean for us? Well, we've got to keep up the same standard of quality, people! You can't get discouraged just because he's out there! Keep those smiles on your faces, guys! Isn't that right, Jenny?" he said, a large grin spread across his face as he went for a high five.
"Yeah, I guess..." she said, high fiving him back and letting a small smile appear on her face. "That's what I'm talking about, everyone! I'm expecting us to beat them out at the lunch rush! I've got other business to deal with, but I'm sure you guys can manage!" he exclaimed, walking out the door again. He briefly popped his head back in. "Get it? Manage? Little joke there for all of you. I'll be off now!"

Abandoned Area
In the middle of a field in the outskirts of Morioh, a girl, lying on the ground, wakes up.
"Ngh...Oh...Did I sleep here...?"
She stood up, dusting off her school uniform and her long braided hair. She looked around her...didn't seem like there was anybody else there.
"Damn...Oh well. I guess I feel a bit more relaxed, at least..."
She rose her hand and looked at her open palm. She concentrated for a brief moment, and, as expected, a second, larger hand seemed to sprout from her own.
"Right...it hasn't all been a dream. This past week...it's been real."
She could feel her heartbeat start to rise.
"Alright...Then it's up to me. I've figured out how this power works by now...and if I'm right, the person I'm looking for must have something like it. Then...I need to find that person. I hate to do bother with conflict...but if I have to use this power, so be it! This power..."
She looked around. She clenched her fist.
"Alright! This power...I'll call it...「STRAWBERRY FIELDS」!"
She rose her fist into the air. The apparition rose its as well.
"Tomorrow...I'll solve this all by tomorrow! That is my goal!"
Her heart was racing.
"First thing's first...I'll check with the police one last time. Just in case they've found something new...then, it's on my own."
Mimi Kabutomushi. 16 years old, student of Morioh High School. Stand name: 「STRAWBERRY FIELDS」.
Mimi makes her way towards the Morioh Police Station.

Abandoned Area
The morning sun rises as a tall, slender boy shields his eyes whilst looking into the sky. His skin pasty white skin and long silver hair shimmered against the sun's golden rays. His uniform designates him as a High School Student, and gold lettering one his arms saying "Snoop" showed off his flair. His shirt also has gold dog bones going down it. On his face, two silver rings protruded from his right eyebrow, almost accentuating his red eyes.
"Ugh, another long night. Let's see if I can finally find some good subjects to satisfy me." The strange teenager spoke in a calming, yet majestic voice. In that instant, he noticed Mimi standing up. "Such a strange girl, could she be what I am looking for?" With pinpoint precision, the high school student whipped out a telescope out of a sheath on his right side and aimed it at Mimi. Looking through it, he took notice of all of her features. He was so invested in looking at the girl that he didn't notice the massive lens flare that came off of the tip of the telescope. Unaware of the possibility of being spotted, the boy swiftly pulled out a notebook and pen from his pants pocket and drew a perfect sketch of Mimi in it. "Magnificient!" The teen muttered as he began to start heading towards the residential area.
Town Centre - Morioh Police Station
Now here's more news from Morioh ~ Delaueva Electronics stock is continuing to rise after the announcement of new products. Police still have given no response on the strings of mysterious murders these past few weeks. Mayor Yukizuki would like to remind everyone that the election is incoming next month, and he would appreciate if everyone could help him in his reelection campaign! That's it for now, if you have any interesting stories, just call us at our new Morioh News hotline!"
Jojo continued to just sit there groaning as he trudged through his paperwork.

Morioh Bay District
"You like peppermint?"
The boy nods.
"I like peppermint too."
On the out skirts of Morioh, past the hotel, sits a strange girl. Half Blue. Seated on the ground, fishing line cast in the ocean. Next to her is a small child, male, no older than 7, eating an ice cream cone. Peppermint flavored.
The boy stands over the seated blue girl. *lick* *lick* and stares down at her.
The girl smiles back, "My oh my," She says chuckling, "You've been licking away, but you haven't even reached the cone yet."
The boy looks down at his cone and shrugs, "I don't care, I like the ice cream better." His words so simple, and monotone.
Smile not fading, the girl turns her eyes back to the ocean, "I see." Checking her watch, the girl did lose her smile. "Oops. I guess I'm out of time."
The woman reals her line back in, and packs up her fishing hook into it's carry on bag. Throwing the bag over her shoulder, she looks to the child once more and waves goodbye.
The child looks up at the girl and pauses. "Hey, mam? You've got something on your face." With that, he pulls out a napkin and wipes off some salt water on the girl's left cheek.
"Thank you." The girl smiles back.
With that, she heads to the Morioh Police Station.
Behind her, the boy resumes licking his ice cream, until a gust of wind blows it into the ocean. *splosh*
The girl turns back around, and frowns at this unnatural happening. "Oh dear, I'll buy you another one if you like." But the boy just shakes his head. "It's okay, I'll go get it." With that the boy chases after the ice cream, jumping head first into the water.
The girl shrugs and keeps on her way.
-----------------------------------------------
Shopping District
*Thump!*
"And take your stupid couch with you!"
*THUD*
At a restaurant in the shopping center, a man in a green sweater vest was politely asked to leave by a very sporting and patient man.
But when that didn't work they kicked him out and threw his weird sofa on him. What dicks am I right?
The man, known by most as Sunday, rose to his feet and dusted himself off.
"Welp, guess I'm not going back there." He says with a shrug.
He leans back and falls right on down on his green couch, and pulls himself up a soda he left on it. Moving around the pillows with his feet to achieve maximum comfort, he checks his watch and sips his drink.
"Mmmm, day's still young." He says with a smirk. Sunday taps his couch with the back of his foot. "Onward! We have places to be!"
With that the sofa began moving, seemingly on it's own around the shopping center.
Way to Police Station
The town of Morioh was a bit different then the girl had imagined. She walked around nervously, holding a map in her hands, as she looked around the town. She was basically lost at this point, but she was to nervous to ask for help. Everyone around her was either doing summer time games with friends or just hanging out and she didn't really want to disturb any of them.
While looking, she noticed a red haired girl in a blue uniform. She seemed to be alone, and going somewhere so she must know this place.
With a thought of, I hope she won't think I'm too weird, the half blue girl walks up to the one called Mimi.
"Excuse me?" She calls out to her.

Mimi was staring at a parked car, the person inside listening to the radio with the windows rolled down. She seemed to be glaring at the car, paying close attention, until the driver noticed her and grew annoyed.
"Ey, buzz off, brat! Mind your own damn business, would'ya?!"
He waved his fist at her, and she backed off. "Ngh...s-sorry, sir, I was just distracted."
She turned back to continue her way to the police station, but she found herself interrupted.
"Excuse me!"
Mimi stopped and looked to where the voice was coming from. The sight as...unexpected, to say the least. A young woman, not much older than herself, that was half covered in a shade of blue. Mimi grew tense. I don't think I know her...No, I definitely don't. I'd recognize a look like that easily. But she wants my attention...I don't like to give people the time of day much, but someone this eccentric...Hm. I'll see what happens if I roll with it...
"Yes? Hello?" She sounded a bit less confident than she hoped to, but she kept her guard up just in case.

The blue girl pauses. From behind she couldn't tell but looking at her from the front something seemed a little familiar. But that's as important as her question.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorta new here." The blue girl says smiling, closing her left eye like an anime girl would. She motions to her map,
"Could you maybe show me to the police station? I have a feeling they'd have something there for newbies like me."

I don't really want to deal with this, but someone this eccentric...Maybe I might be able to learn something. Morioh can be a pretty noisy town, so it might be worth checking out people like this to get a grasp on the situation...

Mimi reluctantly shook Nicole's left hand. "M-Mimi. That's...my name." She tried to avoid eye contact with the...puppet, and just pretended it wasn't there. "Uh...follow me, then."
Mimi started to walk in the direction of the police station. As she did so, she planned. She's even stranger than I anticipated. But I'm going to have to take a gamble if I want to reach my *goal*...I'll have to see what I can do to find out what I can.
"So, if you're lost, does that mean you're new to Morioh?" She tried to speak casually to the half-blue girl. "It's a pretty odd place, hm? We've got a lot of little urban legends and such here." She glanced back to try and see the girl's reaction. "You haven't encountered anything strange since you've shown up...have you?"

"I won't need this if I'm following you."

"I'm not even sure I know what you mean when you said this place is odd but, I'll keep my eye open." She says winking with her left eye.

"Well, there's a lot of superstitions and rumors in this town," she went on. "I don't know how much I believe them myself, really, but people pass around a lot of bizarre urban legends. Some say they've seen alleys appear where there wasn't one before. Some people claim they've encountered ghosts, or aliens. And some say..." she glanced back once more. "...That they've seen a mysterious blind man wandering about."
She crossed her arms and looked back forward. "I mean, it all sounds kinda outlandish to me. But I guess when you live in a small town like this, people come up with some pretty strange stuff..."

"*giggle* Well I imagine he'd be wandering around if he were blind." Nicole says smiling at her own joke.
"But that does sound like some very interesting stuff, I'll make sure to keep and open eye."
Nicole resumed taking in scenic Morioh; Honestly the town seemed normal: bus stops, hair salons, heck there could be a park somewhere in the little place, and she was already familiar with the bay. All and all Morioh seemed like your ideal nowhere, maybe they made up these stories for fun? Or maybe they do it to scare tourists, that sounds like a spot of good fun.
"So," Nicole asks turning focus back to Mimi, "Are you interested in the occult? You know a lot more about the popular rumors."

Shopping District
Having exited his pride and joy, the Marquis of Meats, Hall was greeted by several different sights. The birds, perched comfortably in the trees, chirping without a care in the world. The crowds of people roaming about the various shops. The Burger Sheriff, ever an eyesore, placed right across from his humble establishment. Atop the location had been placed a gigantic version of their mascot, Tex. He glared down upon the crowds and whoever may pass almost judgmentally with his cold, dead eyes and toothy grin, complete with handlebar mustache. It was almost enough to make the carefree Hall's blood boil!
And yet, despite his hatred for the place, he was momentarily distracted by a man lying on a mobile sofa. This looked like a man in need of a Marquis Burger, or maybe even a Marquis Meal! Even though he had other business to deal with, this man looked like the type of man that would attract interested crowds. Monty walked up to him with a sort of exaggerated gait.
"You! Buddy! Pal! My friend! Daddy-o!" he exclaimed, spinning in circles several times while pointing finger guns at him. "You look like a hungry enough dude, am I right? I just had the best burger at that restaurant right over there!" he spun once more, pointing at the Marquis with a finger gun. "And they'll even let you bring in your little pet there, if you want to! Ya dig?" he continued pointing at him with the other finger gun.
